With its new perfume bottle Magma , a masterpiece of sculpture work encapsulating a sophisticated scent, Lalique is paying tribute to the origins of the Earth. This aesthetic shock, a sensation for the senses, comes as a limited edition of just 500 signed and numbered pieces.

S hards of crystal appear to burst from a molten Earth. The silhouette is free-flowing yet structured, crowned by a fiery sphere, the solid shape of which seems to move. An infusion of anthracite grey pigments mimics the most spectacular nuances of magma as it cools to form hard stone. Crafted using the traditional artisanal techniques of the Lalique crystalworks in Wingen-sur-Moder, Alsace, the Magma perfume bottle, a simply breathtaking new crystal edition, is an ode to the transformational power of nature. The fragrance within echoes its remarkable receptacle, a combination of elegance, strength, and contrast, the carnal with the floral – aficionados will recognise the legendary extrait de parfum Lalique de Lalique , which master perfumers Béatrice Piquet and Max Gavarry took as their inspiration to concoct Magma , an olfactory collision of the classic and the supremely modern. The vibrant top notes of rose, jasmine, and iris, the heart notes of pear and blackberry nectar, and the base notes of unctuous sandalwood, vanilla, and musk all embody molten rock as it solidifies. This intense, primitive energy has been extracted from the Earth to spread along the skin.
